Visitors for the Consular and Visa Department are requested to use the “Diplomatic Enclave Shuttle Service” to get access to the Diplomatic Enclave. This accounts for visitors of all nationalities, including Pakistani and Dutch. The bus departs from the special bus stop at:
3rd Avenue, Quaid-e-Azam University Road, G-5, Islamabad

Because of security checks you must arrive there at least one hour before the appointment. Yous should arrive at the embassy not later than 30 minutes before your appointment. In order to use the shuttlebus you must show your identity card or passport and present a proof that you have an appointment at the embassy. A family or group of 4 applicants needs 4 appointments!

Supporting documents:
All documents which are part of an application have to be submitted by the applicant at the counter, together with the application form. This also accounts for documents from the Netherlands. Documents should not be sent to the embassy from the Netherlands, but should be added to the application by the applicant. It is the applicant's responsibility to submit a complete application.

Opening hours:
The Visa and Consular Department of the Embassy in Islamabad is open to applicants from Monday to Thursday between 08:30 hrs to 12:30 hrs by appointment only.

Mandatory Schengen Travel Insurance
A visa applicant has to submit, together with his/her visa application, proof of a valid travel insurance covering:
Expenses for repatriation for medical reasons, urgent medical care and/or

Urgent medical treatment in a hospital.
The minimum value of the mandatory travel policy is determined at Euro 30,000
Insurance premiums for these policies are charged by the insurance company and not by the diplomatic or consular representation.
Any visa applicant is free to take an insurance at the company of his/her choice. The embassy or consulates have no involvement with any company, but as a service some Insurance Companies able to comply with the Mandatory Schengen Travel Insurance are mentioned here below:
